Bread of Life Community Kitchen is planning a large feast for Good Friday this year on March 25. Come hungry for food and fellowship. For lunch we will be serving: 

Ham,

Green bean casserole

Sweet potatoes

Fresh baked rolls

Cranberry fruit Jell-O

Who We Are

Bread of Life Community Soup Kitchen is a 100% volunteer and nonprofit soup kitchen. We provide lunch and fellowship to anyone in need, without question. Our goal is to not only serve a nutritious filling lunch, but brighten someones day with a smile and a word of encouragement.

The community of Cedar City provides for the needs of this soup kitchen, as we do not rely on any government funding to operate. Our volunteers, including our board of directors is 100% volunteer.

We operate on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 11:30 - 1:00 pm.

Mission Statement:
We seek to be the hands and feet of God by ministering to all people without discrimination. Providing food to the hungry, clothing for the needy, a place of rest and comfort for the weary, and fellowship for all.

• If you don’t have a Smith’s Reward Card, get one! They are available at the Customer Service Desk at any Smith’s
• If you signed up for the rewards program, but use your phone number at the register and don’t know your card number, call 800-576-4377, select option 4, and get your number.

2014 in Retrospect

The move to our new location has had challenges but over all has been a great success. 




We had an influential member of the Board of Directors/volunteer undergo brain surgery, our location has created obstacles for some patrons to find us, and funding is always an issue. In all - 1,942 souls were served since we opened our doors on July 9th 2014 to the end of last year, and our year-end financials show us in the positive. With the Lords continued grace and favor, 2015 should be a great year. No doubt we will continue to face challenges, but with Jesus Christ all things are possible.
